Clinical Animal Behaviourist

Important: James Carroll has had a serious accident and is currently unable to work. Unfortunately we don’t know yet when he will be available to work again, so please refer to the Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC) website: https://abtc.org.uk/practitioners/ for other Clinical Animal Behaviourist suggestions. On the ABTC website in the search area, just fill in which county you are in, species for which you seek help, and for the ABTC role, click Clinical Animal Behaviourist. You can leave the practitioner name and organisation fields empty unless you know the name of a particular practitioner or organisation you want to find.

I am a Clinical Animal Behaviourist in the Greater Manchester area available to help with all types of dog behaviour and training problems.

I am a certified to the highest standard for Animal Behaviourists in the U.K. and hold a Masters degree (MSc) in Animal Behaviour from Newcastle University. I am a member of The Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors APBC, The Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians FABC, and The Animal Behaviour and Training Council ABTC. As such, my fees are usually covered by insurance policies that allow for behaviour issues (but check your policy to make sure).

With my background and experience, I can help you understand and address the underlying causes of your dog’s behaviour.
